Big Fun Arts educational content is oriented strongly to family and community. Our focus is on unifying community and family through art and on providing high quality, relevant arts education. Big Fun Arts supports three main groups of constituents by building content for teachers and community program coordinators. Thus facilitating high quality, visual arts education through both e-learning and community outreach.

Big Fun Art's mission surrounds the principle that “art making and art education provide individuals and communities with the creative thinking tools needed for everyday life”.

A unique feature of Big Fun Arts Projects is that Big Fun Art's art methods combine the use of computer graphics along with traditional arts and craft mediums. By nature, these channels are designed to interconnect providing content that can be leveraged from one channel to the next and encouraging community participation.

Big Fun Arts encourages personal expression, communicating with others, fun, sharing, storytelling, creativity and heart. While many tips and best practices are included, these are offered as relevant information to the main offering of transformative experiences. By developing quality projects, participants are invited and encouraged to "think outside the box".

The Big Fun Arts Network will grow and evolve, eventually housing other types of arts educational content. Our beginning set of “channels” offer a wide variety of arts and crafts related lessons and movies.

The four channels of The Big Fun Arts Network are:

Big Fun Arts Arts and Crafts Channel:

This channel is the home of the content developed by the Big Fun Arts Team. Here Big Fun Arts demonstrates its hybrid art methods, which combine computer graphics along with traditional art and craft mediums.

Examples of these projects include finger puppets, mobiles, sculptures, kites and dolls as well as party decorations, murals and original crafts, such as this Painted Candles project.

Big Fun Arts Featured Artists Channel:

Featured artists (Big Fun Arts' many friends and the craft magazine and maker communities) have a lot to say and share about what they create and why.

This channel features professional artists working in their own studios on a prepared project. Like the Project Channel, projects have a series of lessons. These artists are from all around the world and show users how to work with different materials and techniques. Featured Artists give interviews, tips, tricks and ideas on this channel.

Big Fun Arts Digital Graphics for Everyone Channel:

This channel teaches users how to create relevant and engaging art projects for their lives, using Big Fun Arts' unique take on computer based graphics and connected art projects.

Designs and design themes introduced here will be used in other Big Fun Arts projects as they evolve.

Big Fun Arts Community Channel:

The Community channel is the gallery space for user generated content, interaction and information about outreach programs sponsored by Big Fun Arts and partners.

This is the space where people can share their reasons for and the results of their engaging in the art making experience.

Big Fun Arts is an online as well as a flesh and blood initiative.

###

Big Fun Arts is a company founded by a few people who really enjoy making art and wanted to share that enjoyment with the public at large. As a group of educators, the founders became inspired by the deprecation of art education and felt the need to share something that's all around, but is, more and more, becoming secondary to other, no less important, educational endeavors. Big Fun Arts seeks to reiterate the importance of art and creativity in daily life.

As a collaborative of minds, Big Fun Arts is looking to share creative know how with the community at large. Big Fun Arts aspires to spread art and creativity using multimedia and community oriented events. Big Fun Arts is confident that it can engage children and adults alike with artistic and creative project tutorials offered using the latest technology. Big Fun Arts intends to enlighten the public to a vast assortment of online videos, images, tutorials and samples. In addition, as a company with a focus on the world, Big Fun Arts intends to offer service in as many languages as possible starting with English and expanding immediately to Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and German.

Big Fun Arts sees itself at the beginning of a long and rewarding philanthropic international career. It's not really a business, more of a movement.

Overall, Big Fun Arts can be characterized as a high-profile educational and artistic distributor and quality manufacturer of arts and crafts related templates, materials and ideas.
